Merry Christmas!

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along the unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

Till ringing, singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

And in despair I bowed my head
“There is no peace on earth,” I said,
“For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.”

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men.”

The Not-so Fashion Faux Pas.

5 perfectly wonderful changes in the world of fashion.

1. It is fine to wear white after Labor Day.
2. It is also acceptable to wear tights with sandals... even after Labor Day.
3. Accessories do not have to match.
4. Lace is no longer just the staple fabric of your grandmother's curtains.
5. Velvet, brocade, silk and fur can be dressed down.

I can't seem to find the time to blog lately. It's been oral surgury ( 3 wisdom teeth).. countless doctor's visit's for all these weird things that keep happening to me... Christmas shopping.. keeping up with old friends.... Christmas parties and programs .... AND ....
getting ready for school to start ( Jan. 2!!).
One of these days everything will settle down. Until then, abbreviated posts will be the norm.
Love!
